Next year’s Insurance Day Summit Bermuda will take place over June 12 and 13, it has been announced.Now in its sixth year, the summit is firmly established as the best platform for executive management to meet, network and do business, all brought to you by the insurance industry’s only daily newspaper, so mark the date in your diary now.
This year’s event saw more than 50 chief executive and senior management speakers from the Bermuda, US and London insurance markets come together on the Insurance Day stage to debate the major issues affecting the sector.
These included such industry luminaries as Willis boss, Joe Plumeri, Hiscox chief executive, Bronek Masojada, vice-chairman of Aon Group, Grahame Chilton, and chief executive of the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America, Dr David Sampson.
A number of speakers have already been confirmed for next year’s line-up, including chief executive of Alterra Capital, Marty Becker, global chief economist and risk strategist at Guy Carpenter, Dr Joan Lamm-Tennant, and Bermuda’s minister of business development and tourism, Wayne Furbert, with more big-hitters to be confirmed in due course.
This year’s summit will once again take place at the prestigious Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotel on the island.
