Plumeri to deliver Insurance Day Summit Bermuda keynote

Joe Plumeri will deliver the keynote speech at this year's Insurance Day Summit Bermuda, which will be held on the island in June.

The Willis chairman and CEO will join more than 30 industry chief executives, including XL Capital head Mike McGavick, to debate the issues and challenges that Bermuda needs to overcome in order to maintain its position as one of the leading re/insurance domiciles.Mr Plumeri will deliver his message on the opening morning of the two-day event, after the Premier of Bermuda, The Hon Dr Ewart Brown, has formally opened the proceedings.

The Summit will examine the potential legislative threat that Bermuda faces from the new US administration, while also identifying opportunities emerging from the ongoing financial crisis. New insurance markets will also be showcased and discussed in detail.
