Inga Beale

Inga Beale, Group Chief Executive, Canopius

Inga Beale joined Prudential Assurance in London in 1982 and trained as an international treaty reinsurance underwriter.

In 1992 she joined GE Insurance Solutions being appointed to a number of underwriting management roles before becoming President of GE Frankona and Head of Continental Europe for GE Insurance Solutions.

In 2006 she was appointed Group Chief Executive of Converium overseeing its acquisition by Scor.

In 2008, she joined Zurich Financial Services as a member of the group management board, becoming Global Chief Underwriting Officer in 2009.

Earlier this year she was appointed Group Chief Executive at Canopius.
