Matthew Fosh, Chief Executive, Novae Group

After leaving Cambridge University in 1979 Matthew Fosh began his career in the UK stock market in the early 1980s.

In 1988 he co-founded Seagray Fosh Futures Ltd, an equity and fixed income derivative trading business.

He was Chief Executive of this business for 14 years, including three years in partnership with Chase Manhattan Bank, before selling the business in 2002 to ICAP plc, in London.

He is a former professional sportsman, having played cricket for three years for Essex in the late 1970s.
